I am 29 and finally have the chance to do something just for me. This blog is not only for those of you on this forum but also something for me to go back to when my kids are in braces; which will only be a few years from now.
I had an adjustment yesterday so that means it's time to update the blog. My ortho made his decison; he is going to pull teeth but he changed his mind on which teeth he is going to pull so it makes me even happier. Instead of pulling my "little peg teeth" (thats what he likes to call them) and reshaping my canines to look like those teeth but he has decided to pull my 4 pre molars (I think thats what you call them, the first front molars in your mouth). He wants it done ...
So my Ortho was supposed to make the final decision on pulling my teeth. Apprently 8 weeks for me to worry about this was not enough because he wants more time to think about it. In the mean time i am now the proud wearer of elastics. Insert sarcastic YAY! here. I asked the assitant how long, on average, I will probaly have to look forward to looking like an idiot. I know I should have started this right from the begining but in all honesty I wasn't sure where to begin.
