My Braces Blog

I had an adjustment yesterday so that means it's time to update the blog.

My ortho made his decison; he is going to pull teeth but he changed his mind on which teeth he is going to pull so it makes me even happier. Instead of pulling my "little peg teeth" (thats what he likes to call them) and reshaping my canines to look like those teeth but he has decided to pull my 4 pre molars (I think thats what you call them, the first front molars in your mouth). He wants it done in the next 4-6 weeks. YIKES

To boot he said I should get my top wisdom teeth pulled to because the dentist is in there already and they do have to come out at some point. That means I am pulling 6 teeth!!!! OMG what have I gotten myself into????

In the mean time I currently have no wire on my molars, but he left wire on the front teeth. Then he took the brackets off the molars he wants pulled. Talk about a weird feeling.


Oh and just to make you all a little jealous I flossed my back molars yesterday - Oh man did that feel good.

He also told me he will remove the expander in January or Feburary so I have something to look forward to. YAY
