Some pictures...day 6 of damon clear...

Hey all! I just wanted to post some pictures of how my teeth look at the very beginning of treatment. I have damon clear on the top front six teeth and regular metal damon brackets on the rest. Let me know if there are any other angles or pictures that you would like to see.

    Hey there! My teeth are deceptively straight! lol...They are fixing my overbite, a small mid-line discrepancy, and the alignment of my teeth on the right side. Some of my teeth don't "sit" right and my bottom front teeth are "tipped" forward..a technique used by my previous ortho to camouflage my overbite since I couldn't get surgery at the time. So, I'll have just the braces for 6-9 months, then they will install a Herbst appliance which will fix the overbite (15 months), remove the herbst and have just braces for 4-6 months, retainers, and a Damon splint at night for life.

    Wow!! Well good luck with your treatment Sounds like me, my friend asked me "Your teeth were straight, why do you need braces?" I told her that it wasn't about making my teeth straight, it was about fixing my bite (which is the longest part of the braces process!)

    Your braces look great! I have the damon clear (social 6 clear and the rest metal) too and today is day 5 for me. My major issue is an underbite and a midline shift to the left, if it weren't for that, I could've gotten the six month smiles braces. But oh well, I'd rather do it right and fix everything. Keep updating the pictures and progress!
