hello I am new to this. I got my braces back on yesterday after having them off for the last 10 yrs. forgot how painful it was.but dr said that i should only have them for 4-6 months.
No pain here. First time I had any real discomfort was when the archwires were bent to move teeth in specific ways ... which was after three years of treatment. Make sure you keep well hydrated, plus cover any brackets with plenty of wax, so that your mouth toughens without you getting sores. Good luck with feeling heaps better quickly!

ooooh about the same as me then mine shoud be about 6 months hopefully!!!! hope the pain eases up in a few days (or sooner ) xx
