does anyone know how they adjust self ligatures? I go next month for mine..not sure what to expect (1st time with those)
The same as any other kind of brackets! Remember brackets don't move teeth ... so they don't get adjusted. What needs attention is that the teeth are moving and moving the correct way ... so it's about archwires, powerchains, elastics etc etc. Often the archwire will work for months and months and need very little attention, whereas other times the archwire may need to be changed due to it not working properly, or having finished the job it was needed for. Things get added and taken away at adjustments ... and this is all to do with movement. Good luck!
