My New Smile =D

My visit to my ortho was much anticipated today since my last visit hyped me up a bit on my debanding date . I'm placed on elastics once again this time a different pattern (pics coming soon). Estimated debanding date: February. I must say I was a little disappointed as I thought it would have been sooner... but what's a couple more months for a more perfect smile

Hello to all, just a quick update on my recent adjustment. My ortho congratulated me on my midlines she told me everything looks great! I was very pleased to hear that. I am currently placed in elastics (1/8") on left/right canines. I was told I am in my final stages of my progress so the countdown is on! My next adjustment on Oct 9th, I hope by then I'll be able to know when these babies are gonna be off! (Hopefully before Christmas!) Keeping fingers crossed.

Hello all. Just some brief info on my last adjustment. I haven't got any changes done this time. My ortho is still keeping track on my mid-lines. So I'm put on elastics (medium 1/4") as I have been using previously. My next adjustment is Sept. 11th so keep you posted until then!

Note: If you look closely, you'll see the "lacing" and/or "coiling" of the wires & that there is no ligatures placed for this procedure. Thanks again Sunny for the correct term ...

Hello all! My apologies for not posting the pics as I mentioned in my prior blog. I had my ligs/powerchains taken out on Friday and I'm now in binds (top and bottom). Please correct me if I got that term wrong. My ortho told me she's keeping tabs on my midlines. So far everything seems and looks great! Countdown time is nearing and I'm so excited I'm still on elastics (same pattern mentioned in my last blog). My ortho estimated October for de-banding. However depending my progress ...

Hello all! Had my adjustment today. I got powerchains on my top this time (grey) and on one of my tooth at the buttom that needs straightening, and the rest in pink ligs. I'm also on elastics this time on both sides in order to help with my midlines. I'll post up pics soon!

Hello all! So it was chair time once again. I changed my ligs to pink and I'm still on elastics (left canine). So far progress is the usual, although I have noticed that my midlines are more aligned than before.. I will post pics soon.

There is something I need to query with my ortho (since she wasn't at the office today, due to some emergency) I was put on "medium" elastics but I was on "heavy" the last time around... I didn't realized this until I ...

Hello All! I haven't been able to blog since my last post, my apologies. I've had my 10th adjustment today, I put pink ligs and I'm assigned to wear elastics once again this time on my left canine. Today is also the 13 Month mark for me I asked my ortho how long again would my treatment go on for and she said I should be done in 6 months. She told me I'm doing great thus far, I asked her about the powerchains and she said I won't be needing them anymore. So great news! I'll try to post up ...

I switched patterns in wearing my elastics, this time it's worn on both canines (upper left-lower left & upper right-lower right). At first I was gonna have to wear the powerchains but my ortho decided to give the elastics another stretch -pun intended lol. My midlines are still off by a bit but my ortho said it's fine and I'm doing great so far ! I'm short on pics but I would put it up soon.

That's right! My braces turn 1 year old today I can't believe how time flies. My next adjustment is on Friday, hopefully I'll have some juicy updates on my next post including pics. Bye for now.

I put purple ligs this time. I'm pretty much staying with the colors that I've tried on before lol. My ortho told me that she'll be taking photographs! She originally wanted to do it at that time I went in for my adjustment but she had a lot of patients on that day (being a Friday) and everything was a little hectic that she forgot to? *blush* I know, I know... She also mentioned that my mid-lines are coming on perfectly, it's off by a teeny bit but the elastics r doin their job! MY next adjustment ...
