Hi all I know it's been a while since I've blogged! Tonight I had a little mishap As I was cleaning my retainers (lower) all I heard was *snap* Yep you guessd it... a crack right down the middle... this is not good news! Luckily, I have my first check up (since my debonds) this Friday - May 7th. Since it's my lowers, I don't think I'll be needing to have them replaced since I was scheduled to have linguals. But I MUST have my widsom teeth extracted first. Hmm... I'm gonna wait it out until Friday ...

Hello all. Last week I got my first post braces cleaning, but I was told I should come back in three months to get another cleaning before I get my linguals (bottom). However, after reviewing my x-ray results, my ortho advised me that I would have to get my 2 bottom wisdom tooth extracted! *ouch* I'm really not looking forward to this, but it's definitely something I have to do very soon. I am scheduled to meet with my ortho on May 7th for my post braces check up. After this, I will get more of ...

My debonds has been pushed back due to one little tooth (my bottom left lateral incisor). In my last adjustment she had that one tooth raised a little and is now in the process of getting to where it needs to be . I got my powerchains (top) replaced as well as the bottom with new wires. She also changed my patterns in wearing my elastics to verticals (canine to canine) on both sides to close down my bite. I will post pics so the idea of what I just said would make more sense lol. I've got new powerchains put on (top) and a new wire/ligs on my lowers. Debonding day is set on Feb 5th. I am elated! Adjustment pics will be posted up soon!

Where has the time gone? I can't believe it's been 22 Months already! Next adjustment is this Friday, hope my ortho has some good news! Keep you posted.

Hello to all. Just a little brief info on my last adjustment which was about 2 weeks ago. My ortho removed the "lacing pattern" on top and replaced them with powerchains in order to close my gaps. I will post pics soon! My next chair time is Jan 8th, 2010. Keep you posted 'til then!

Hello to all! Today marks 20 months and the countdown is nearing! I had an emergency visit to my ortho today, since the new hooks that were put in got loose. See previous blog. 19 Months w/ Pics!. I also scheduled a teeth cleaning on the 13th since my last cleaning was September 2008. Yes it's been long overdue! My ortho says everything looks great. My visit to my ortho was much anticipated today since my last visit hyped me up a bit on my debanding date . I'm placed on elastics once again this time a different pattern (pics coming soon). Estimated debanding date: February. I must say I was a little disappointed as I thought it would have been sooner... but what's a couple more months for a more perfect smile

Hello to all, just a quick update on my recent adjustment. My ortho congratulated me on my midlines she told me everything looks great! I was very pleased to hear that. I am currently placed in elastics (1/8") on left/right canines. I was told I am in my final stages of my progress so the countdown is on! My next adjustment on Oct 9th, I hope by then I'll be able to know when these babies are gonna be off! (Hopefully before Christmas!) Keeping fingers crossed.

Hello all. Just some brief info on my last adjustment. I haven't got any changes done this time. My ortho is still keeping track on my mid-lines. So I'm put on elastics (medium 1/4") as I have been using previously. My next adjustment is Sept. 11th so keep you posted until then!

Hello all! My apologies for not posting the pics as I mentioned in my prior blog. I had my ligs/powerchains taken out on Friday and I'm now in binds (top and bottom). Please correct me if I got that term wrong. My ortho told me she's keeping tabs on my midlines. So far everything seems and looks great! Hello all! Had my adjustment today. I got powerchains on my top this time (grey) and on one of my tooth at the buttom that needs straightening, and the rest in pink ligs. I'm also on elastics this time on both sides in order to help with my midlines. I'll post up pics soon!

Hello all! So it was chair time once again. I changed my ligs to pink and I'm still on elastics (left canine). So far progress is the usual, although I have noticed that my midlines are more aligned than before.. I will post pics soon.

Hello All! I haven't been able to blog since my last post, my apologies. I've had my 10th adjustment today, I put pink ligs and I'm assigned to wear elastics once again this time on my left canine. Today is also the 13 Month mark for me I asked my ortho how long again would my treatment go on for and she said I should be done in 6 months. She told me I'm doing great thus far, I asked her about the powerchains and she said I won't be needing them anymore. So great news! I'll try to post up ...
