I switched patterns in wearing my elastics, this time it's worn on both canines (upper left-lower left & upper right-lower right). At first I was gonna have to wear the powerchains but my ortho decided to give the elastics another stretch -pun intended lol. My midlines are still off by a bit but my ortho said it's fine and I'm doing great so far ! I'm short on pics but I would put it up soon.

That's right! My braces turn 1 year old today I can't believe how time flies. My next adjustment is on Friday, hopefully I'll have some juicy updates on my next post including pics. Bye for now.

Hey all, just an update on my adjustment. I put pink ligs once again lol I couldn't decide what I wanted so I went with what I'm most comfortable with I get to wear elastics once again... this time on BOTH sides oo the pain! On my left I wear from top molar to buttom canine, and on my right, top canine to buttom molar. My ortho told me I'd have to wear them all day except when eating & brushing. Since I haven't had elastics for a while I forgot what the pain feels like. Hopefully ...

Tmrw would mark 10 months for me & my next adjustment is on the 5th. I'm open to any color ideas, I usually put pink but I don't mind trying out other colors. So far I've tried silver, baby blue and purple... I wanted to try clear ligs but I don't think it's any fun and also very high maintenance. Looking forward for your opinion

Hey guys so I had my 6th Adjustment today. I got new wires & I put pink ligatures once again. I don't have pics but will upload some soon. I talked to my ortho about the "slight bend" on the wire that I've noticed on my lower jaw since wearing the elastics on my left side. She told me that I "overcorrected" my bite lol by wearing the elastics but I won't need to wear them anymore until she recommends them. So I am all smiles lol About the um "bends" ...

Yup 8 Months! hopefully 10 more to go lol.

My next adjustment is on the 21st so look out for updates soon!

whoo-hoo! lol can't believe it's been 6 Months already...

Heyy guys! so it's been 5 Months in w/ braces *on Aug 3rd* sorry I haven't gotten time to post any pics since my lost blog... my apologies. Well since my last entry I have been noticing little progress. I still wear my elastics @ night as my ortho recommended. So far e.things going well, look out for new pics soon!

Today marks 4 Months in w/ braces everything is going really well. I had my first cleaning last week, my teeth looks and feels great! I will try to post up some pics soon.

Today marks 2 Months in w/ braces I must say it all came by pretty quickly! I have noticed a BIG change in this time... everything is going really well. My 1st Adjustment is on Monday so look out for pics soon =]

Just some brief info. as to how my 1st adjustment went:
All I had done was gotten my brackets changed into pink. It wasn't necessary for me to change my wires or anything. My ortho said maybe by my next appointment or so. The whole thing was totally painless & only took 5 mins. Just 1 tooth was really sensitive but I was okay. I ate fine right after & had no complains of pain. Keep you posted...

Today marks 1 Month in although it felt like it's been longer well just a couple things... I have noticed some changes in my bite -- since my last posted thread --at that time I couldn't chew on my right side now it's switched up, I can only chew on my left I can also see little gaps forming between my upper teeth, I guess it's shifting, slowly but surely. My 1st Adjustment is next Monday so be sure to see pics soon =]
