So I've been done for a while except my ortho decided that I wear my final trays for a while longer than usual. Basically I've been done since May and I wore my final aligners till August 2nd at which time, my ortho cut off the molars on the trays. I apologize for not updating this often but I guess nothing new has happened. I've been done my upper refinement aligners for about 6 weeks now. After 5/8U and 5/14L I wore each aligner for only a week at a time. Right now I am on 13/14L and finished on top. My ortho is very happy with my progress in fact I have "over-correction" on the top because he was like 'one of your teeth has a tendency to relapse back to its original position.' I realize I haven't updated this thing in ages. I've been super busy or just
lazy about it. Well I am almost done my treatment on my upper teeth. I started wearing these 5th trays on the 23rd.

I have a full arch now the only thing that i guess i am not as happy about, if anything, is that on my right side my canine is not perfectly aligned with the right lateral incisor. but it's not that bad. i mean i dont even think i'll be able to get this fixed ...

So I finally went to the ortho this Tuesday after 8/9 days of wearing my second to last trays because I shrunk my final trays in hot water. I wore my 15/16L and 16/17U again and I didn’t like it because I wore my final trays for like 4/5 weeks and had to suddenly switch.
But luckily I got an email last week on Thursday that my refinements came in but I couldn't get an appointment until Tuesday.

While i was at work today i ate a banana and because there were customers i thought i'd use the coffee machines hot water tab and soak the tray in hot water to clean them. I remember when i first started treatment i looked for information on invisalign for a long time. luckily i found this website and a few youtubers. i can't believe that today after living with crowded and crooked teeth for 22 years and invisalign for 9 months, i too have my own story.

It has been a long time since I've updated. Things have been pretty uneventful although these last couple of trays have been very tight the first couple of days. I went to the orthodontist today after 2 weeks of wearing these final trays. He said my teeth look great and asked if I was unhappy with anything. So I told him and he said that there are a few teeth that need to rotate into place. He then did some IPR (not much at all) and tweaked the trays and put in new pressure points. He told me to ...

i am now wearing my 15th trays. these were PRETTY painful trays...i've had to take tylenol 3 times since i put them on last night. but boy did these trays seem ages away when i started. however, i dont think i'm as delighted as i'd like to be right now. both my upper 15+ and lower 15+ are over-correction trays* and my teeth really dont look done. of course my teeth are a lot straighter than before but they definitely can use more work.

to say i've been a little busy these past 2 weeks is an understatement...sad thing is i went from being SUPER busy to really free (and bored). i went to the orthodontist yesterday and got some good news: 1) i'm done with IPR...i guess my ortho just did it all at once so i don't believe i'll be getting anymore done, 2) i got to go to my 12th trays 2 days early, meaning i only had the 11th ones on for 12 days as opposed the usual 2 weeks, 3) i got trays *12, 13, 14, and 15th...so ...

I changed into these trays last Thursday so it’s been like 5 days since I’ve had them. I love movement because I know I’m getting closer and closer to more aligned teeth. My bottoms definitely look much better and the top left (where I had IPR look pretty good) while the top right still needs more moving. Three weeks till I go back for more trays and IPR. so i started my 9th trays this past thursday. i feel like these trays were tighter than my previous ones because my front incisors are being pulled back. ramadan started on saturday and for those of you that are not familiar with ramadan. its a holy month during which musims fast from dawn to dusk...basically you cant eat/drink anything for however long that period is. for me, it's about 15 hours. we eat before sunrise, so i try to eat a good bfast and drink lots of water to stay dehydrated. but ...

i am now on my 8th trays and i think these were probably the most uncomfortable/tight ones after my first trays. i also had my first IPR done on them this wednesday, some on the top left incisors and some on the bottom left incisors. according to what it says on my tray packets i was going to have the IPR on the bottom trays after the 10th trays but my dentist just did it now? anyway, i go back sometime the week of the September 21st for more IPR on the top right incisors. I'll be on my 12th trays ...

...the photos are kind of unclear but there upper front teeth are aligned now and my lowers are definitely much better from when they started
