So I finally went to the ortho this Tuesday after 8/9 days of wearing my second to last trays because I shrunk my final trays in hot water. I wore my 15/16L and 16/17U again and I didn’t like it because I wore my final trays for like 4/5 weeks and had to suddenly switch.
But luckily I got an email last week on Thursday that my refinements came in but I couldn't get an appointment until Tuesday.
Good news is that I only have 1 attachment. The attachment is on my lower k-nine that did not have an attachment before. I was rather shocked to get only one attachment and also to have it put on that tooth…from what I could tell that side of my jaw looked fine.
The not-so-great news is that I have 8U/14L trays. UGHH. Keep in mind I had 16L last time. The last 3 upper and lower trays are over-correction trays used to close gaps and stuff. My ortho said that over time my teeth will want to go back to how they were and so the last 3 trays will only be used if necessary.
I really didn’t expect this many trays. However you can’t even tell I have anything in my mouth because I don’t have any attachments on my upper teeth. In fact my teeth look super shiny and white with the trays and the fact that my teeth are pretty much done helps . I think it was easier to notice invisalign before because of the attachments.
The only thing is I'll have to watch when I eat, brush and floss a million times a day. But it's all good the result will pay off .
I think that after this round, my midlines will match :-D I don’t know why but I really wanted that. It’s not like anyone can tell but who doesn’t want perfect teeth if they paid for it?
