Well, after the final consultation, I went back to the original orthodontist. Cost was a major consideration as the 2nd ortho doesn't work with my insurance company, which would set me back an insane amount of money out of my own pocket. Add to this, she was charging close to an additional $1,350 for the same treatment plan.

Last week, I had my oral surgery appointment to have teeth #6 and #12 removed. The canine was impacted and afterwards, I was sutured up from the lateral incisor on the upper left to the first molar on the upper right after the surgeon removed it. I'm still a little puffy in that area since talking just aggravates the tissue.

My appointment for spacers is on July 6th, then braces on July 13th. Time to get moving!

    Good for you! I had my spacers put it on June 30th and then it's braces time on July 8th!
    How long will you have the braces on for?
