  1. Final Tray Complete!

    by , 12-07-2010 at 04:26 PM
I have completed all 21 trays as of tomorrow. I went to my ortho dr. yesterday and he said he was not satisfied, as I was not either. My top front teeth still has some minor spacing that I was not pleased with. My treatment was considered express so originally I was not suppose to have refinement trays. Yesterday they took the buttons off and made new impressions so that the new trays can be made. I am relieved my doctor was seeing the same thing I was. I have to continue to wear tray 21 until I ...

  2. Tray 16

    by , 09-15-2010 at 03:41 PM
Hello everyone! Once again it has been a very long time since I have posted any updates. I really don't have much to tell. Today I started tray 16...only five more to go. I am so very excited. The treatment/process has not been bad at all. I will just be so glad to have pretty teeth! I can see a tremendous difference in my top teeth since my last posting; which I was on tray nine at the time. It seems like the first 9 trays or so focused more on my bottom teeth and top k-9's. To me my problem area ...

  3. Tray 9

    by , 06-09-2010 at 09:28 AM
I am one week into tray 9 and all is well. Nothing unusual to report. As I have said in my other post its a breeze wearing these trays. I can't believe I am almost halfway through all of this. Tray 9 of 21, it is going by so fast. I am noticing more changes now on my top teeth which were most of my concern. Well I will update again soon!

  4. Tray 5

    by , 04-13-2010 at 12:28 PM
I am halfway through tray 5. Yesterday I went to see my orthodontist to pick up trays 6 - 9. He said everything looks really good. I don't see much of a difference as I hoped, but I am only on tray 5. I think I am expecting too much too soon. However, everything is going great. It is amazing to me that people do not even notice them AT ALL! Well until next time....

  5. Tray 3

    by , 03-18-2010 at 11:50 AM
Last time I posted I had a tray that was splitting on me. I was able to make it to the end of the two week cycle without the split getting any worse. I am halfway through week 3. I am able to notice that the one tooth on the bottom has began to shift in the right place. My top teeth look the same to me, but I'm sure they too have shifted as well. From what I remember of my clinchek video most of the focus would be on my bottom bite at first. So here's to another week down

  6. Tray is splitting!

    by , 03-02-2010 at 10:11 AM
So far everything has been extremely easy. Yesterday however I noticed that I had split my bottom tray; which I am only a week in to. I am going to try to be really careful not to split it any further so that I can get one more week out of this tray. It split right under where one of my attachments go. I think it should be okay as long as I try to prevent any further splitting. I read another bloggers post and I don't feel so bad about it happening after reading their post.

  7. New Addition "THE ATTACHMENTS"

    by , 02-17-2010 at 02:26 PM
Today I went to my ortho and had 12 attachments put on. 6 on top and 6 on the bottom. It really wasn't that bad, no pain or anything like that. I am struggling now with getting them off. I'm sure it will get easier with time. The ortho has instructed me to continue wearing my first trays for one more week. They feel A LOT tighter than before, so now I am kind of glad to wear them for another week. It makes me feel like they are really doing what they are suppose to when they are tight like this ...

  8. One week with Invisalign

    by , 02-08-2010 at 02:50 PM
Well forum friends I have had my trays in for one week now and I still have lots of positive feelings about it! I am loving the fact hardly anyone has noticed. I actually like having them in b/c my smile is more symmetrical and the spacing I have is not visible with them in. I haven't had to take any pain reliever. I feel pressure but its not enough to where I feel the need to take anything.

One more week and I go in for my attachments and will have to wear tray one for another week...I ...

  9. Tuesday Trays!

    by , 02-02-2010 at 02:48 PM
Well it is Tuesday and I just got back from getting my first set of trays. I was in and out of the ortho office within 30 minutes. They showed me how to put them in and take them out. It is actually very easy, no problems so far. I have done it on my own with no problems. However, in two weeks I go back to my ortho and I will have the attachments put on at that time. From what I can tell I will possibly have 12...3 on each side, top and bottom. I am a little nervous about what it will be like with ...

    by , 01-28-2010 at 05:09 PM
I can't even begin to explain how excited I am! Tuesday February 2nd I go to the ortho for my first set of trays. It seems like I have been waiting for an eternity. I actually only had my impressions done 3 weeks ago, so it was a fast turn around to say the least! My appt. is in the middle of the day. I am not sure if I should plan to come back to work afterwords or not...any suggestions?

  11. The Beginning - Impressions

    by , 01-06-2010 at 01:57 PM
Not much to tell today. I had the impressions made today. It was actually kind of interesting. They took all the weird close up pics of my teeth with my mouth spread wide open. They gave me a print out of todays pics so that I will have something to continue to compare to once I actually start my treatment. I was told that I will receive them within 4 to 6 weeks. My treatment can last anywhere from 6 to 10 months (hoping for 6). Well I guess I will update again once I get my trays.

  12. The Beginning

    by , 01-05-2010 at 12:38 PM
Tomorrow I will get my impressions made and anticipate it will take 4 weeks to receive my trays. My Ortho has informed me that I qualify for Invisalign Express which I was glad to hear. Cheaper + shorter treatment = happy patient! I have been wanting to do this for a very long time and I am so excited to finally get started. Any valuable information anyone has to offer please comment. I am looking forward to reading other blogs and posting my own. I suppose I will post again tomorrow after my appt. ...
