I can finally post something to my blog! I had my Clin Check on Tuesday 10-13-09. The doc went over it and showed me how my teeth are going to improve greatly.

He said it would take 12 to 14 months during my first appt. However, with the clin check, he mention it may be around 9 months with refinements coming in 10 months if required (and no charge).

My appt was at 3:50 pm today and I was excited to finally get this process started.

My first stop was the billing / payment / tell you everything you need to know room. This process took roughly 15 minutes. Explained all the details both good and bad. My ortho allows in house billing, which means I can go interest free and just make monthly payments. Woohoo.

My overall cost is $5290
I put $1000 down.
Amt due: $4,290 spread over 14 months, interest free! ...

I was scheduled to have my final molds, xrays and such done this week; Sept 10th to be exact.

However, I talked it over with my ortho and I instead had my four wisdom teeth removed on Sept 3rd. He said it would free up some room in my mouth since I have some bottom and top crowding but nothing major, at least in his view.
