Buccal molar bracket is gone ...

Posted 10-12-2008 at 09:26 AM by Sunny

Frustrating ... I've been getting loads of progress on my upper right side. The frustrating part, is that I don't think my ortho was expecting movement to be this quick, and pressed the end of archwire between my first and second molars ... so today, the pressure of the 'bending' archwire got to be too much for the buccal molar bracket on my first molar ... and 'ping' ... it came off.

I'm not going to work tomorrow as my hubby has a couple of important appointments with his oncology team ... but I can't wait to show my ortho on Tuesday. It's annoying the bracket came off ... but also exciting, as it shows what a great job the powerchain is doing!

Nope ... we're so busy, that I was told it will be sorted the next time I have 'chair time', and for now I'm to put the elastic over the second premolar. It seems to be working, as I'm confident that gap is getting smaller ... ghee this is exciting.

After nearly three years it's finally happening!
