Hello! I got my braces on a year ago. Throughout the past year I've been coming into the office in between my scheduled appointments (I'm friends with my technician) and she has really sped things along for me. I was in elastics from March-September. He said my bite is fine. Last time I went in he changed my ties and said, "You're done with elastics see you in 6 weeks." Then I came in today and he changed my ties and said, "Everything's looking great, see you in 6 weeks." ...
Yup this little bag means that I am officially on rubber bands to fix my overbite. It's in the classic Class II configuration, from my upper canine to my 1st bottom molar on both sides. Holy pressure Batman! I haven't ever felt pressure like this in my mouth. EVER. And to add on to that, they added a clear power chain to my top 6 teeth to close some small gaps. It's pretty cool ...
