Well my first week with a template went really well... I thought to well at times.. I did have pressure and there where times I couldnt handle the pain. But thats to be expected.

Today I guess is actually my true start. I went today for the "buttons" and boy does my mouth hurt. I am so afraid of taken them out. As it hurts so much. The tray is so much different then the template, a harder plastic.. The pressure is worse. I dont go back for a month now. He gave me my next tray for 2 wk change..

So I'll see how this week goes. I am expecting to eat lots of soft food.

    Great that your attachments are now in place and your treatment is really getting into gear.

    If your mouth is aching, some over the counter pain meds may help, plus when the aligners are removed, rinse with warm salty water to help soothe your mouth.

    Good luck with your adjusting to these aligners!

    How long did it take to receive your first try after having your impressions? I have been told to expect 4 weeks if all goes well. Thanks and good luck!

    4 weeks exactly stacy.. then I couldnt actually get to his office due to the holidays.. But yep 4 weeks.. Be here before you know it...
