Great you're having treatment to sort out your bite before it becomes worse.

What treatment are you having to prevent your tongue thrust from undoing your treatment? My ortho discovered I had a minor tongue thrust, but said it was still severe enough to undo my treatment. I had to wear a special appliance for about six months to help retrain my tongue and a speech pathologist gave me speech exercises to do. My ortho now checks my tongue from time to time, by getting me to drink from a glass. Hopefully I'll know immediately if my tongue starts slipping behind my teeth again, as there's no way I want this work undone!
