*sorry about the discoloration, I just ate sliced oranges*

So my tongue has noticed that a tooth has moved slightly.

If you take a look at Tooth 2 and Tooth 3 on the left of the picture they are a lot closer together. #2 doesn't stick inwards as much as it used to and it certainly feels different against my tongue.

This is brilliant! It's only been a few weeks since my first adjustment so I'm really excited to see a subtle difference.

I'm not so sure why I have to wait until the bottoms are all straight before I get the top linguals put on. The suspicous part of me thinks it's just so that the ortho can prolong the treatment. I just want them on already, or to understand what's stopping them from going on now.

I'd wager your top teeth don't need as much work done as the bottom, so don't worry about your ortho being a potential sadist.

Wow ... that archwire is working magick on your lower teeth Wallflower! Congrats!

I'm confident no ortho wants to prolong a patients treatment. There reputation is too important for something like that. I agree with HeadJam, that your uppers don't look to need as much work, plus is there a concern that your linguals would 'clash' with your lower teeth, if they were put on at this stage. If there is, then that's a great reason to delay having brackets put on!

Here's to you having more great progress!

That's great! I agree with everyone else that it looks like the bottoms just need to shift around first.
