What a relief, the normal dentist check up went fine, he was very surprised the invisalign had worked so well and thought the results given the fact I’d no refinements were great. He did comment “have you had whitening done?” which I’ve had a little, I only really did it for about a week or so after the attachments came off – maybe it really did make a difference after all 
Anyway the good news is 31 years and 8 months and never a filling yipeeeee! Little polish – no scaling (fabby...

Well hello everyone......I haven’t vanished off the face of the earth, just been really busy with work, life, everything really.....but I haven’t forgotten all my friends I’ve met on here.
Things with the new straight teeth have been fine since I finished treatment back In October. It did take several months and attempts to get a retainer I was happy with, I think I picked it up about December, ok I’m not 100% happy with it as it’s not as good as fit as my final tray, the top one isn’t...

My retainer didnt fit

Aww picked up my retainer at the weekend and it didnt fit and no one knows why, it;s tight as tight can be on the study moulds? ....so it's off for new moulds and attempt 2 later this week. I got a trial pack of Polanight whitening gel....anyone tried thiis brand? Did it work? This will do me until maybe I can afford a full session of whitening. keep you posted...... i'm not quite a retainer wearer yet!

I think I'm coming down off my cloud and back to reality. I'm so pleased its all over and i'm finished with my braces and as of tomorrow i'll be a retainer wearer...does that mean i change forum thread?! Aww i'll miss everyone you've all been my friends over the past year and some even though I've only had my trays since January I started the ortho visits in August last year. I'm delighted with how things have been finished. Ok i didnt like IPR and I felt maybe a smidge too much was done in...

What a day!

OMG! is pretty much all I can say today.......I just got my attachments off, moulds done for retainers (that I'll pick up tomorrow) and thats me all finished with Invisalign. When I get over the shock of the last hour I'll update this properly with how the appointment went and new photos but it's BRILLIANT to feel smooth teeth again with no attachments, now I'm going to whiten at home, just a little bit but give me a hollywood smile boost! (might need hypnosis to get off the irn bru tho first...
