What a relief, the normal dentist check up went fine, he was very surprised the invisalign had worked so well and thought the results given the fact I’d no refinements were great. He did comment “have you had whitening done?” which I’ve had a little, I only really did it for about a week or so after the attachments came off – maybe it really did make a difference after all 
Anyway the good news is 31 years and 8 months and never a filling yipeeeee! Little polish – no scaling (fabby news) and see you in 6 months Mr Dentist ! Delighted isn’t a big enough word!

    Wonderful news Weeeyin!

I don't like to think about when I had my first filling ... but it was at the school dentist ... back in the days when it was almost an expectation that you'd have a filling. Our families never questioned if it was needed or not ... it was more like having proof that you'd had your teeth checked.

What I'm proud of, is that since I left school/home, the only work like that I've had done, is having fillings replaced, redone etc. So I guess I've got about 35 years of no fillings ... YAH!

Keep loving your teeth the way you are and here's to you having a lifetime of filling free beautiful teeth!

Thanks Sunny.....well done, you win 35 years, that gives me something to aim for. I guess good teeth are in my genes, my Grannie is 87 and still has her own teeth, ok they're a bit worn down but they're still there and she's still eating nuts and toffee no problem with them. Can't say the same about my poor mum tho, her teeth fell out when she was pregnant with me, I must have sapped all her calcium, yikes! I vaguely remember something called fisher sealing when I was young and the other kids at school were getting it from the school dentist, but I remember my mum not letting me see "the evil man" (as she called him - might have been the guy that pulled her teeth when they got loose) and took me to the "real" dentists who didnt do the sealing........Its only a memory though, 20 years ago or more now I'm guessing.

You have heaps of knowledge to go with your beautiful teeth, so if you have any concerns consult with your dentist, as I'm sure this person will want you to keep those beautiful teeth forever also!
