Hi folks,

It's been a few weeks since my last blog - things have been awful at home, I've been in hospital with a stomach ulcer - too many fizzy drinks over the years they recon along with a bacterial bug and it's destroyed my stomach lining - ooooh ouch, the pain, it was unbelievable! I've had every xray, ultrasound and camera shoved where you really don't want cameras shoved, needles stuck in my hands, arms, leg and back! - makes orthodontic treatment almost a pleasure! If I stay off the drinks (prob shouldnt really be having them with invisalign anyways) and off any spicy food, stick to bland things I'm fine. 3 more days of antibiotics and zantac and I'll be back to work On the plus side one of the junior nurses were fascinated with my invisalign she's off for a consultation herself! My ortho should be paying me commission

Anyways - teeth!
So I'm now on tray 15 of 29 on the top and am wearing my final tray 13 on the bottom for 2 1/2 weeks, so I'm virtually finished on the bottom and waiting on a retainer and getting attachments off - yipeeee, I dont see the need for refinments there - happy with how it looks - whatcha think??? I am soooooo delighted with the bottom arch, up until today where I took some updated photos I never realised the good progress I've made on the bottom.
I'll be honest, I dont really see any progress with the top as yet - my annoying wonky one is still wonky, however all the work on the top seems to have been concentrated at the back so far, making space for my wonky front tooth to fit into - I know this by flossing and the gaps that were created with IPR closing over the past few trays. Tray 15 feels to be the first to make some movement at the front, the tooth next to my "wonky one" with an attachment is throbbing a little esp when I take the trays out for (bland, boring) food. I'm not taking any pain killers for it (with my current tummy problems and after that pain) I can cope with a little tooth throbbing for a day or so.
You'll see from the photos my midline isn't great but part of that was through choice as I've a back molar that has never grown in on the bottom right (it's tucked under the wisdom tooth and bone has grown over it) I never wanted a healthy tooth taken out from the left to even things up, and since when I smile normally you dont see the bottom arch, I was happy for straight teeth even if the midline isn't perfect.

Next appoinment is 8th May so I should have another update after that - let you know if I'm in a bottom retainer or what is happeneing next........ till next time xx
