Retainers not working :O:O:O

heyy!!
well 1st of all i got my braces on in nov 2006 and i was only meant 2 hav dem on 4 a year nd in nov 2007, my dentist told me dat he wanted 2 leve dem on 4 an extra month, so i waited and then he called and sais that he wanted 2 w8 till june so i waited.. and den he sed come back in september so i did! pretty angry aswell.. and i went back nd he took them off.. i was reli delighted.. but then he put them back on again nd never gave me a reason

so i went back a told in november 2008 and FINALLY he took them off... ohh ifi waited ne longer i wud f cried

but den wen he gave me my retainer it looked reli odd!!
it was kind of like a clear retainer!!
so i out it in and it didnt fit at all!!
so he tld me 2 cum bk monday nd 2 use dat retainer at nyt so i did!..

nd den i went bk on monday nd d retainer he gave me was worse dan d last 1 bt he tld me dat it wud hav 2 do!!

im furious now because.. honestly.. i cant afford to go through all that again and now my teeth r moving back again..

wat cn i do dat wont mean having to get my braces back on again????????

Your post is very difficult to read ... remember this is a forum, not phone messaging.

What did your ortho say about your new retainer not fitting? Sounds like you need to go and talk to him again, as a professional person would not tell a patient 'that it would have two do' ... if that's in fact what you've written.

If you have no luck with your orthodontist, please contact the society for orthodontists in Ireland and seek advice from them. Your general dentist may also be able to help.
