    Can plastic retainers be fixed?

I'm worried that I might have warped my upper retainer since it's not gripping my back teeth tightly on one side. I do recall leaving them on the window ledge at one point :/

That being said it still sits on my teeth fine and still feels tight when it's put in (possibly not as tight as it used to). Think I should book an orthodontist appointment?

It could be possible that I'm noticing this now... I just hope the retainer can be flexed to grip back teeth tighter without having a new one made...

I like to err on the side of caution, so I'd call the ortho and make a quick appointment. If the retainer does not fit properly, you might run the risk of some sort of relapse at some point and that would be a shame...

    Good luck!

I'm now positively sure that something is wrong because my front tooth has shifted (!!!!). Unfortunately I couldn't get through to the ortho yesterday (closed for no reason - and now it's the weekend) plus I won't be here after next week so I REALLY need an appointment next week and I doubt they will because they're always fully booked out - or give that impression. ARGH.

Can't you just go up to their office. My ortho has an emergency line (an on-call doc) just for emergencies and situations like that. If it were me and I couldn't get in contact with them, I would have my tail up at their office so they could see me face to face.
