Permenant Retainer

I got my braces off 4 years ago and got permentant retainers on both my bottom 6 teeth and my upper 2. I have always had trouble biting down around my top permenant retainer and I'm beginning to notice that my bottom teeth seem a little less stable (as in, they seem wiggly). Has anyone else had the same trouble?

Toothfairy your retainers are 'bonded' not 'permanent' ... there's no such thing as permanent retainers.

Check that the bonding is still firmly in place, because if any of this has come away from your retainer, it won't be doing the job properly. Also make sure you're still wearing your removable retainers a couple of nights a week to keep all your teeth in position, or the teeth that don't have the bonded retainer connected to them, may be 'forced' to move due to these unretained teeth moving.
