    Gap between molars...

So I got my braces off back in August and ever since then, I've been experiencing pain after eating any type of meat or food that has a tendency to getstuck in between teeth in between the molar where the molar band used to be and my second premolar. There is only a gap on the right side of my mouth, not the other side and it is so painful when I try to take it out with floss, a toothpick, or even my toothbrush. At times, it will start bleeding. Someone please help! What should I do?

You shouldn't have waited so long to post this. I would recommend that you speak with your orthodontist IMMEDIATELY! Until you can get in to see them I would say do salt water rinses and brush gently.

Are you still wearing your retainer?

Sorry you are experiencing this and I hope that it gets better sooner than later

Definitely contact your ortho and ask about this. Hopefully it's something that can be easily corrected.

    Good luck!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
