Hawley and Essix Retainer moving my teeth differently?

My ortho gave me two retainers: A hawley and and an Essix. I wore the essix for a month. When I switched to wearing the Hawley yesterday, I noticed that one of my front teeth was shifting forward. What's going on? These were made from the same impressions.

I've never heard of anyone getting both types of retainers before, do you know why? I'm afraid I can't answer your question regarding your front tooth but I suggest you call your orthodontist and get some advice. It may be that the wires on the Hawleys are not as accurate as the Essix. I would switch back to the Essix until you have got some advice. Good luck.
