Can the ortho's change my retainer.

So 2 weeks ago I got my braces off, but had no retainer and just yesterday I got a retainer but my teeth had moved alot and it didn't fit amazingly (but started to fit). Because of this, they gave me an appointment in 2 weeks to get a new retainer. I COULD phone them up and say it has started to fit, but i might take advantage of this opportunity

I drew a little diagram on paint to help you understand and i was thinking I could take this into the ortho when i go, but dont want to embarass myself as they might not be able to change my retainer.

That's the way it was when I got my braces off (left picture - and the arrow on the right picture indicate the change i want, as the tooth is a bit squint) but i could ask them "could you ask the lab [people who make the retainers] to change it a little to make it alot tighter on just one tooth" pictured above. Is this as rediculous as I'm thinking it is??

Definitely ask ... and hopefully it will be possible!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
