    Permanent Retainer with a bridge?

Currently I have an Invisiline retainer. I would like to replace this with a fixed/permanent retainer. Can I get a permanent retainer if I have a bridge on my front teeth. The bridge is connected to a total of three teeth.

    Thanks for reading.

You need to talk to your ortho, as bonded retainers are only for the front teeth, and you still need to wear removable retainers at night to keep the rest of your teeth aligned.

The bonded retainer can be bonded to each tooth to keep it in place, or attached to one a the beginning and end, with the wire running between. This won't help with forward movement of teeth during the time the retainer is bonded, but if your teeth were at risk of going backwards it would help.

Good luck with getting this sorted!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
