Question Will Twin Block make me unable to chew?

Twin Blocks are used to push the lower jaw forward. If I do this right now, my teeth does not fit together? So I can't chew?

Will it be like this after I'm done with my Twin Blocks? I don't want them if they just make it worse.

Talk to your ortho and ask this question.

If you're still growing, it may be that your bite will be improved both upper and lower and your lifetime of retainer wear will ensure your bite and teeth remain great for always!

    Good luck!

I have asked them, but they only answered ''You'll be fine''. But I don't really understand how it is supposed to work.

I've had them for a while now and I was totally right. My right top tooth and my bottom right tooth scratch into eachother when I chew. It's really uncomfortable.
But based on the looks I LOVE THEM! Lifechanging, I don't look like a darn baby anymore. (I had a 1cm overbite. That's right, 1CM!!)

Great that you like the way your face looks.

Make sure you talk to your ortho, so he knows you're aware of it.

    Good luck!
