    Buck Tooth after orthodontics ?

I got my brace treatment from Q Clinic at London.

My upper teeth treatment has been finished this week.

I found the front two teeth are much outer compared with before. It becomes slightly buck teech.

Does this happen to anybody else? My dentist told me because my chin bone is slightly longer, therefore if she remove any teeth from up and down jaw, my mouth will go concave, and wrinkle around mouth will be deeper, and I will look like 5 -10 years older, and my chin will look even longer. She says I have to choose either twisted teeth or straight tooth but slightly buck.

Is that correct? Is that really no middle way? I see many other people have orthodontics got their teeth removed. I would like to hear some opinion from you.

    Many thanks.

My advice is to consult with a couple more ortho's and listen to what they have to say about your case. Then discuss these ideas with your ortho.

    Good luck!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
