Missed an orthodontic appointment.

Yesterday I was scheduled to have an appointment and foolishly missed it thinking it was still Thursday -_- , on Tuesday I had my braces removed and a mould of my teeth done, I think today I was supposed to have the retainer fitted. I will not be able to make another appointment until Tuesday at the earliest will this extended time frame be detrimental to my treatment?
