With their end results, if so can u can tell what type of ortho treatment you had and maybe post some pics. I've been reading to many horror stories on here, I wanna read some happily ever after stories.

I had head gear, jaw expander and braces for 2 and a half years... and I am not happy.
wish I had someone to tell me that you reallly do need to follow the rules. now I have a life time with teeth that make me more self concious.

Everytime I hear people say they are happy I always say that it is worth the pain. I had braces for 2 years and I lost weight in the beginning and was really so sick. After I gt used to it everything seems to be better.

I got braces in April of last year and have 3 weeks left. I have basic braces (ceramic top, metal bottom). I also jaw surgery for an overbite in May. I couldn't be happier with the way my teeth look. I don't have any recent pics but I'll post some when my braces come off.

Best advice I can give you is to consult with 2-3 orthos. Find one you really like, and follow his rules verbatim. If you do this, you should be ok.
