How long was total braces time?

I was wondering...how long was everyones total time in braces? Ive known people who have had them for 5 years and others for 1 and a half, so i really want some others input please!

I was quoted for 2 years. My front two teeth are protruded. I also have over bite and crowding in the lower side. Let see how long it takes.

I was quoted 2 years by my first ortho. and then quoted 18 months from start date at my 2nd ortho. I'm supposed to be getting my braces off in 4 weeks, so I'm beating both of those numbers.

^ thats awesome! My ortho tells everyone 18-28 months but my teeth are moving pretty fast, though i know this takes time haha
