I should be getting my braces off in the next month or two. I’m with an orthodontist who used Suresmile and Damon. I am very concerned because I still see spaces in my teeth or the darkness of my mouth behind the teeth when I bite down in the mirror.
My orthodontist said I will be able to see some darkness (even when I get my braces off) because of the shape of (some?) of my teeth. I thought that I would have a perfect smile or at least a regular smile when my braces came off, which was the whole purpose. Now it’s looking like that might not be the case.
Is there anything I can or should do about this…including reshaping some of my teeth to make them fit together better with the spaces/darkness showing behind them, and whether with a dentist, my orthodontist, or some other type of dental professional/surgeon? Please offer any advice as this is very concerning to me. Thank you.
