    Retainer issue?

So I got my braces off on the 12th, and received my retainer (Hawley style) yesterday. At first my retainers were very tight but now they feel none existent in my mouth. So I decided to do some DIY and pushed the loops inward so they feel tighter on my teeth. Is this a bad thing? How should they feel?

I'm with Coconut. You could have just "activated" the retainer and are gradually pushing your teeth out of alignement. The retainer should be snug, with the bow touching the teeth but not pushing against them. Go see your ortho
