Ok I had an underbite when I was younger. I was still growing so they corrected my jaw growth with braces, headgear, and expander and now I do not have an underbite. I have had my braces off for about 4 years now. I am now 19. I was dumb and never wore my retainer after braces came off. I read about teeth shifting back and went back to the ortho. They said my teeth have shifted a bit but not too much and my bite is still exceptable. I am happy with the way it is now. Will my teeth really shift anymore if I don't get a retainer to wear now? My main question and worry is could my jaw shift back to an underbite or can teeth just shift because my jaw was corrected while still growing?? Please let me know as I am worried about going back to an underbite. Thanks...
Also I need my wisdom teeth out but haven't done it yet if I have a retainer made will it still fit after my wisdom teeth are taken out or do I need the wisdom teeth taken out first?

I would ask an Ortho.
The Crime: Protruding upper canine, upper and lower crowding.
Sentence: 2 years

First day with brackets: 12/05/2011. 4 Extractions: 12/12/11. 1st Adjustment: 01/04/12. 2nd Adjustment: 2/15/12 Pulling the canine down. 3rd Adjustment 3/28/12 (canine's in the wire, and pulled into position!). 4th adjustment: 5/16/2012 (closing the gaps!)
