Hi, about a week ago i chewed on my retainer while i was eating (my retainer is fit for me to eat with!) and i bent one of the wires, making it so the retainer could no longer fit in my mouth! i went two nights and a day without wearing my retainer until i got an appointment with my orthodontist and he fixed the retainer to fit my mouth and to shift my teeth back into place. Over the past few days I have noticed my front teeth are all awkwardly shifted into weird positions, because of me not wearing my retainer. But because i've been wearing my retainer shouldn't it have fixed my front teeth and moved them back in place?! My 2 front teeth aren't even, and one of the teeth next to my 2 front teeth even shifted behind one of them, which is the position it was in before i had braces. What should i do about this problem, is my retainer slowly fixing the front teeth or should i see my orthodontist? what to do?!
