Since I have a grinding problem I wear a soft mouthguard on my top teeth during the night along with a bottom retainer. Is this ok? Will this mess up my bite or mess up my bottom retainer?

I also wear my top retainer during the day to compensate for the lost time I could be wearing my top retainer during the night.
