What should I do???

Help!!! I am getting my braces off (at the latest) jan. 2009. I hate the metal retainers. I want the clear type, what should I say to the ortho (i'm going tomorrow). can i ask about the special machine?

if they do Invisalign in the office, than they will be able to provide you with the clear retainers.. the old metal bar retainers are not that bad, but I dont blame you for wanting the clear ones

can i just ask them to get the retainers done in another office?

of course.. but some may not be connected that way... some orthos are even against using the newer ones because they cant be adjusted like the old ones. The old ones can be tightened and such..

Please review the clear braces or the metal bar ones. Tell m,e which one is better.
