I already know the answer, but...

The arch wire on my top teeth broke! I was brushing and noticed it moved so I went to look and it completely slid out of the very last braket on top. Shortly after that piece came out, another small piece broke off and no there is no wire through the two very last brakets on the right side of my mouth. I know I should call the ortho and have this fixed, but I go in Oct 11th anyway...is this too late to wait? I dont have any discomfort and nothing poking me. Advice please!

I would go in ASAP to get this fixed. With the last two teeth out of the wire, the rest of your teeth could possibly move a different way. If you wait until October this could possibly set you back and extend your treatment time. I would have them look at the wire to see if they need to do anything. It doesn't hurt to check!

Call RIGHT NOW and I bet they get you in immediately. No archwire means nothing good is happening (and maybe something BAD).

How bad this is depends on what stage and what type of movement is supposed to be happening. There is a good change that there will be nothing wrong, but only your orthodontist knows what should be going on, as he/she has developed your treatment plan.
