How does one get comfortable sleeping when in braces?
It's been a year and my face bones have been remodelling the entire time. I can't wear (sun) glasses or a ball cap, I can't even put pressure on my cheek bones, can't put my face in a pillow, not even leaning against one sideways.
I've been a belly sleeper my entire life and trying to fall asleep on my back is torture. When I finally do fall asleep, I wake up on my face in pain...gah!
How do others deal with it? Anyone else having all this facial pain?
It's the entire maxilla, cheekbones, eye sockets, frontal sinus and TMJoint bones. And I've grown a heck of a forehead over the last 12 months, I feel like Mars Attack!
Will sleeping on my belly and putting pressure onto my dental arch and face bones ruin some of the progress?
I really don't know how to train myself to stay on my back when sleeping. So frustrating.
