Final Alignment

Hello All,

I've been on the Damon System for 14 months now and on my last visit to the ortho he did a final alignment xray that resulted in repositioning three brackets. Does anyone know if the final alignment means that I'm getting close to finishing my treatment? I asked my orthodontist, but he was reluctant to tell me. I'm guessing he doesn't want to make any promises. Hoping someone can give me some insight, thank you. By the way, I'm not sure if age plays a part in the treatment, but in case it does, I'm 28.Thanks again.

I can share my experience with you, since it seems we have similar timelines (I am currently in my 13th month). My ortho took alignment xrays around the 11th month and repositioned one bracket. That next adjustment they put me in my FINAL wires! I don't know if I'm close to done since I am still wearing my rubberbands and power chains, but that's where I am at now. I hope that helps
