Damon Clear v Damon Q

Hi i am getting braces in a couple of weeks and am going for the Damon System however i cannot decide whether i should have the Damon Q (all metal) or Damon Clear on 6 front upper with Damon Q on the rest.
If anyone who has or has had either of these types i would really appreciate your reviews and advice!
money isnt really an issue its just whether the clear or metal would look best. is the clear one really actually clear if you are just seeing someone with them accross a table or talking to them for example?? or can they stain?? My ortho said they cannot but i expect he is a bit biased haha.

I've got damon clear on top and Q on the bottom teeth. I wanted to go for the clear ones on the bottom as well, but sadly the damon system hasn't come out with them yet. It's been five months since I had them on and the clear ones haven't stained at all! Also, I was given the expected treatment time of about 1 to 1.5 year (severe overcrowding) and my teeth are almost perfect already! I'd definitely adivise you to go for Q on the bottom and clear on top! And yeah, even though they are "clear", they are still noticeable! All the best!

Great thank youu! yes but i bet they are much less noticeable than metal braces! do you have any pictures up? I can only find ones from the Damon site which are obv gonna be airbrushed so on..

Sorry for the late response! I only have these two pictures that I clicked in September 2011, it had been almost a month for the upper, and a week for the lowers!

My ortho has a LOT of pictures of my teeth though. Gonna ask him to mail them to me; as of now my teeth look so close to perfect and it's just been seven months!
