Did your orth do x-rays before putting your Damon braces?

My ortho told me he could schedule me for braces sometime next week (damon clear) after examining my teeth over an appointment.
He did not do any x-rays or anything, is this normal?
I am just curious, because I would have thought he would examine a bit more before saying I could get them on..

Suggestions?

my ortho did, but i'm not sure they all do.

i had my wisdom teeth out a few months before i had the braces put on so i don't know if that played into it.

but if your ortho felt that X-rays weren't necessary, i wouldn't worry, they're the ones who are supposed to know what they're doing.

After my initial meeting with my ortho they scheduled an appointment to do x-rays and teeth impressions.

I am not a dr but I would think that they would do x-rays because they need to check your roots to make sure that your teeth are healthy and also to see if you have wisdom teeth that might interfere with the movement.

Yes I had x rays before braces went on including the panoramic ones. 5 months in to braces I had some more x rays to make sure the roots were properly aligned

Yes tons of Xrays and bite wings were done on me before too. However, I will state that I didn't have them done until the day before I got braces. It may be coming?
