Default Toddler with Crooked Teeth

My daughter now has most of her baby teeth and they look a bit crooked to me. Does this mean that she will have crooked teeth once she loses her baby teeth? Since I needed braces what is the chances of her needing them as well?

Take your toddler to your dentist for a normal checkup. Even if people tell you not to care for the temporary teeth, do not follow their advice.

Babies dont need braces and just because they may be a little crooked now, doesnt mean they will be when her adult teeth come in. A lot of times, jaw space has a lot to do with how the teeth come in, so if your daughter has a small jaw, then talk to a dentist as her adult teeth come in to ensure that you are doing what is right. My son wears a retainer now at the age of 8 and has for a year and a half as well as a spacer to help retain his space so his teeth will grow in straighter.

Talk to your pediatric dentist and get their opinion.

yeah, i would talk to dentist about it before listening to just anyone. I definately would put braces on her though. But they can help you better.

make sure that when the toddler's adult teeth start growing in, dont let them sit there for a long time. remove them once they start becoming loose immediately! helps make them straighter.
