Temporary Fillings

I have a few temporary fillings that have been in my teeth for a little while now and I am just wondering how long these could last before I start to have problems?

You may want to call and ask your dentist about this one, because it is more of a question that should be referred to them! Good Luck and I hope that you don't have any pain!

Temporary fillings just like the name implies are meant to be temporary.. As for how long it would stay, it totally depends on what your dentist used for filling. Your dentist should have told you this.

I have had temporary fillings fall out before. It’s not good because it can be painful. For me it was especially when I would eat or drink anything that was cold.

I think they are many permanent filling treatments have come and one of which is called root canal. My mom has gone for root canal 5 years ago and she never complained about that tooth again.

i never heard of temp fillings before. But of course never heard one way or the other, just plain filling. I got 1 it isnt a root canal, just in the crown area. Mine is still sensitive after like 3 months.
