I have fairly good teeth at this point but most of the people in my family have dentures and have had them since a fairly young age. I was at the dentist a while back and they were saying something like I needed about 3000.00 in dental work to make my mouth perfect (other than braces). I am just thinking that if I am going to lose these teeth anyway why spend so much money?

That's not very good thinking there! If it can be fixed, you should try to do just that! Just go up to the mirror and imagine you being toothless! That should get your charged enough to go to the dentist. I have projected teeth, my upper jaw is much longer than the lower jaw..I'm not going for any corrective surgery because it's no real threat to my teeth...but that's not your case...If you are sure there will be problems in the future, you should take measures to prevent it..

I was in the same boat, my mom got her falsies at like 35, my brother at 21 and my dad at 40. Mine where fine so I thought. I had 4 pulled already when younger. I broke 1 opening a beer bottle, 2 where wisdom and the other broke on popcorn seeds. I was like just yank them out and let me go home. But my last visit he refused, lol. New dentist, ughhhhh.
