Align launched a new campaign for adult and teen Invisalign treatment recently. The models actually came to our office for their scans and I got to submit their cases for the aligners that are used in the commercials. They were nice enough for us to take some pictures with them. Pretty cool to see them in real life and then how they can get dressed up!

Second time I lose an attachment - this one after 10 months. I had the impression that these trays (#18) were much easier to remove than the previous ones... maybe I had lost it already last Tuesday when I switched... only saw it today, will try to get it fixed tomorrow.

Today I was so astonished too, to see how my molars already have been moved back to create space. I never had upper wisdom teeth, so there is room. :) Even the premolar (#5, where the attachment is missing) is starting to be moved back visibly. I don't see much going on in front but at least in the (invisible) back. ;) I am sorry if my teeth look stained... they do so terribly with the Invisalign trays.

Also funny to see how the gums look weird - these little peaks probably once were exactly between the teeth... And as I always had crowded teeth, it's hard to grasp that I currently have big spaces between some of my teeth...

Isn't it amazing how much movement there is in (only) 17 trays? It's only 1/4 of my initial treatment...

Hi Everyone...
I have seen my clincheck and like the way it looks.
Just wondering if anyone as any tips or tricks on how they handle invisalign.

Im 25 and live in Australia. After reading all the forums and horror stories i hope that im able to remove them when i need too. Probably shouldnt have read all the stories before i got them on!! LOL
Thanks for any tips in advance...

(dreading the first week).

What are the ways to get an impacted canine tooth down?

I just turned 18 and I've had braces for 18 months now. I have an impacted canine tooth and finally last week the tip of the tooth came down, just a small tip. My orthodontist has created a lot of space in the area where the tooth is impacted. Anyway, I'm really fed up with it because all my orthodontist has been telling me for 18 months is to wait for it to grow!! Even though a tiny bit of the tooth has come down, how long until the whole tooth comes down?? 2 years?? 3 years?? Maybe never. I want to demand an alternative solution than to just let it grow next time I have an appointment. I don't want to wait another 2 years to let it grow on its own!! What are other methods to make the tooth grow out other than waiting for it too grow on its own!! I am tired of waiting, I'm going to college soon and I have no confidence in myself since there is a giant gap where my canine belongs!! I can post a pic of the tooth if necessary.

Braces Timing and a second opinion

Today I was diagnosed with an overbite my orthodontist would cure with a Herbst and spacing that would be solved with 18 months braces (My teeth are 3/4 of a tooth off how forward they should be and almost a full tooth in the other side). Im 15 and really don't want more than 12 months of top/bottom braces, Id be okay with say an advanced sync. Overall treatment would take about 2 years. My Parents insurance would also cover another dentist in the area, but I wouldn't be able to be seen until July 9, in 25 days. Overall, I want to know if even attempting to slim the time with braces on by getting a second opinion would be worth it, and if I have a realistic chance of seeing a shorter time.
P.S. I believe the plan I saw was advanced sync into Damon system

New to this forum and Invisalign. Thought it would drive me nuts the first day because it's hard to adjust. Pain only when taking them out and putting them back in, and only with the top tray. After seeing so many pics I feel like my teeth are at a worse starting point than most others. Hoping for a big improvement, I know it wont make my teeth perfect. <a href="http://www.bracesreview.com/forums/attachments/f16/4311d1371330089-day-3-img_3956.jpg" title="Name: IMG_3956.jpg
