Varies from person to person though.
I think from day one we already have our own normal sleeping positions so why not stick with it and find a good way to position your head?

Never gave this much thought. I guess that this is just one more pain in the butt that I am going to have to endure to have perfect teeth. I just wish that I would have been blessed with perfect teeth from the get go and then I would not have to go through this.

If you respire with nose and but not with your mouth while your asleep, then you can sleep straight to avoid cuts. Otherwise you have to find out your comfortable sleeping position by your self.

I really haven't had too many problems adjusting to my braces when it comes to sleeping positions. I have always used 3 pillows when sleeping and I have not had any problems with my braces suprisingly.

I'm wondering if you could use the braces wax at night to prevent cutting your gums on your braces? Are there mouth guards for sleeping to prevent cutting? Check with your dentist, cutting your gums could lead to an infection.

Ouch! A gum or mouth infection could be quite painful! I hope you checked with your dentist regarding cutting your inside mouth. Did you get any advice from your dentist that you could share? I don't really remember having too many problems sleeping myself.
