Removing Teeth

My daughter is 11 and she needs braces. The orthodontist says its time to put on the braces, but she needs 4 teeth pulled. My question is having the teeth pulled totally necessary? Can my daughter wait a year for those teeth to fall out naturally, and then get braces? Am I hurting her mouth, by waiting a year for braces?

Thanks!

My child went through the same thing.. she had 2 that needed to be removed. You can absolutely wait, but getting those teeth removed is not a big deal (not like getting the wisdom teeth yanked). personally I would get several more opinions, but would most likely wait. Sometimes it takes longer than expected for them to fall out though and that is why the ortho likes to pull them out and get started with orthodontics..
